Biography:
Lee (6”5”, 200, 10/3/85) played four seasons at Western Kentucky University, averaging 17.6 ppg., 5.2 rpg., 2.2 apg. and 1.91 stlpg. in 127 career games. He started every game he played at WKU. Lee also shot .401 (245-611) from three-point range and .817 (389-476) during his collegiate career. Lee was named First Team All-Sun Belt Conference for three consecutive seasons (2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08) and was the 2007-08 Sun Belt Player of the Year. He leaves WKU tied with Jim McDaniels as their all-time leading scorer with 2,238 points. Lee also ranks first in games started (127), minutes played (3,957) and free throw percentage (.817), second in three-point field goals made (245) and steals (242), sixth in three-point field goal percentage (.401), and ninth in assists (281) and blocked shots (78). As a senior (2007-08), Lee averaged 20.4 ppg., which ranked second in the Sun Belt and 28th in the nation, and led the Hilltoppers to the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA Tournament. He netted 20-or-more points 19 times and had 30-plus points three times, including a career-high 33 points vs. Arkansas State. Lee scored 735 points, which ranks third all-time in school history for points during a single season. He also ranked fifth in the conference in steals (1.81 stlpg.) and seventh in free throw percentage (.822). During his junior campaign (2006-07), Lee averaged a team-high 17.3 ppg. (fifth in Sun Belt) and shot a team-best .840 from the free throw line. He scored 20-or-more points 13 times. As a sophomore, Lee led the Hilltoppers in rebounding (6.3 rpg.), assists (2.9 apg.) and steals (2.57 stlpg.), while ranking second in scoring (17.4 ppg.). He also set a school freshman record in 2004-05 with 461 points in 31 games. Lee majored in sociology and had a minor in criminology while at Western Kentucky University. He attended Pike High School in Indianapolis, IN.
