| Sat out last season after transferring from the University of Kansas, where he played as a freshman in the 2003-04 season. Started 19 games for the Jayhawks as a freshman, averaging 6.5 points and 4.5 rebounds. He shot 53.1 percent from the field and blocked a team-high 43 shots, the second-most ever for a Kansas freshman. A McDonald's High School and Parade Magazine All-American as a high school senior, Padgett averaged 27 points and 14 rebounds at Reno (Nev.) High School. |
